Rolling Chassis

Le Rolling Chassis arrive avec les freins déjà montés :

  • Durites

  • Disques

  • Etriers et plaquettes

Montage

La principale remarque est qu'une fois encore le manuel n'a pas été respecté lors du montage de mon rolling chassis. En effet, le "brake switch light est monté à l'avant contrairement aux instructions qui le mette à l'arrière (sous le coffre). Heureusement que le cablage électrique prévoit les deux emplacements.

Voici néanmoins quelques infos intéressantes glanée sur le site www.daxrush.nl :

"In the new build manual something has changed: you HAD to put the brake light switch on the front, but as there were problems with bleeding the brakes correctly with this switch on the front, it has changed. The switch has been fitted with a bolt and two rings to the chassis member (the bolts provided by Dax were to small). Fitting the pipes is very straightforward. EXCEPT for one thing....the front-to-rear pipe can be easily put the wrong way around. Make sure that the metric part (with small markings on it) is at the rear, as the UNF part has to be put in the cylinder. I just hope that the brake pipes won't be in the way of the gearbox...."

Pour info, les "brake pipes" (durites de freins) sont de dimension 3/16... pratique pour sélectionner les attaches correspondantes
